by Archie Hayes 2013-01-08, 8:29 PMupdated 2018-01-09, 11:30 PM

Thomas Levy-Lasne was born in 1980 in Paris. In 2004 he graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Paris. Influenced by the works of Lucian Freud, Thomas Levy-Lasne’s realistic paintings revolves around themes of loneliness, indifference, and death but he takes reality for what it is and doesn’t attempt to add any kind of morality through his paintings.
