‘Hyperbolic’ Installation Around a 100-Year-Old Building Facade in Lodz

Artist Crystal Wagner just exposed her latest site-specific installation named “Hyperbolic” in Lodz, Poland, a piece that forms a unique juxtaposition of a clumsy organic growth against the backdrop of a 100-year-old art nouveau facade. Wagner is recognized for her big-scale mixed-media installations using a variety of materials like braided nylon, wire mesh, and cable ties that create vivid forms joined to buildings or hung from galleries. This latest work was created for the UNIQA Art Lodz project curated by Michal Biezynski.
