Korean artist Lee Ji-hee assembles paper versions of older movie cameras, recreating the particulars of their each mechanism via an expertly painted paper. Although his newspaper cameras match the first in every facet of their type, the colors that he chooses for his designs are substantially different. Rather than fitting the black, brown, and gray color schemes consistent with the 1952 Leica IIIf Red Dial or 1938 Super Kodak Six-20, Lee chooses gaudy colors and patterns which give every apparatus an updated aesthetic.
