by Faya Sanders 2011-12-07, 11:07 PMupdated 2017-04-13, 4:00 PM

Shinichi Maruyama was born in 1968 in nagano, japan. He started his professional career in tokyo in 1993, 10 years later relocating his studio to new york city in search of more global opportunities. Specializing in splashing and energetic movements within shots, Shinichi Maruyama’s work is subconsciously influenced by a Japanese sense of beauty.
