Andreas Kocks is a German artist, who works in large and thoroughly crafted installations of cut paper. Working individually with newspaper and a limited color palette, Kocks’ forms attempt to evoke and support elements of four artistic genres: the linearity of design, the painterly brushstroke, the site-specific part of the architecture, as well as the physicality of mansions. He resides and works in New York City and Munich, and his works can be found in galleries and private collections in Europe and America.
