In his new hipster illustration set, artist Joshua M. Smith aka Hydro47 makes fun of hipster culture. The series entitled ‘Redneck Hipster’ explores the hipster style, but ‘rednecked up with a hangover.’ Based out of Orlando, Florida, the graphic designer drew several characteristic hipster elements including an anchor, beer can, stormtrooper helmet, and wolves. The black and white artwork further pokes fun at hipsters by including words within the hipster illustrations. By being vulgar and witty Smith laughs at hipster qualities from Helvetica font to their creative ideologies.
