Artist Stefan Pabst has a talent for creating 3D drawings. One of his most new creations is a snake that will either have you falling while screaming or hanging around long enough to wonder if it’s real.
“This 3D Drawing uses an anamorphosis optical illusion to trick your eye into thinking it is real,” Pabst says. “Anamorphosis is a distorted projection or perspective challenging the viewer to use special devices or occupy a specific vantage point to reconstitute the image. The word ‘anamorphosis’ is derived from the Greek prefix ‘ana‑’, meaning back or again, and the word ‘morphe’, meaning shape or form.”
