Julian Rentzsch

German artist Julian Rentzsch has composed highly complex illustrations, which reference the cinematography of three legendary film-makers, Alfred Hitchcock, Martin Scorsese, and David Lynch.

His portrait illustrates the creative grandmaster behind the scenes enlaced with references out of his work within the history of cinematography. It’s the remarkable drawing and illustration skills of Julian Rentzsch, both analog and digital, the set typography and an incredibly amazing cotton paper stock that could turn this print to an absolute favorite, not only for hardcore cineasts.Using both analog and digital techniques, each portrait superbly works in the manager’s face with scenes from his classic films and a fitting quotation. Each 16″x20″ portrait is on textured acid-free cotton paper with high-quality inks and can be hand-numbered by Rentzsch.
