Introducing Bar Camillo: A New Italian-Inspired Cocktail Bar
Bar Camillo Hong Kong‘s vibrant cocktail scene welcomes an intriguing new player this November, as Lorenzo Antinori and Justin Shun Wah, the creative minds behind Bar Leone, team up with Rosewood Hong Kong to unveil Bar Camillo. Designed to echo the charm of an Italian salotto, or living room, this new establishment marries mid-century aesthetics with a cocktail menu deeply rooted in Italian traditions.
The grand opening on November 25 signifies a collaboration between two prominent figures in the hospitality industry. Bar Leone has earned accolades as one of The World’s 50 Best Bars, while Rosewood Hong Kong, with its stunning views of Victoria Harbour, is celebrated among The World’s 50 Best Hotels.

Design and Atmosphere: Italian Elegance at Bar Camillo Hong Kong
The interiors of Bar Camillo evoke the warmth and style of an Italian home. Expect to find glossy wood finishes, polished metals, and mirrored walls, all set against a retro color palette of alpine green, gold, and cream. Seating varies from a communal banquette near the bar to intimate nooks, complemented by an enticing outdoor terrace offering panoramic city views.
‘At Bar Camillo, our aim is to eliminate the formality typically associated with hotel bars,’ explains Antinori, who has previously helmed the drinks programs at renowned spots such as London’s Dandelyan and Hong Kong’s Argo. ‘We’re creating a place where guests can enjoy sophisticated drinks in a lively and friendly environment.’

Cocktails and Culinary Creativity
Bar Camillo Hong Kong will feature a rotating cocktail menu, refreshed seasonally to reflect different eras in Italian popular culture. The range will include everything from aperitivi and classic cocktails to innovative house creations.
The Negroni, in particular, receives special attention. Guests can personalize their Negroni experience by selecting their spirit, garnish, and desired flavor profile—floral, savory, or rich—and enjoy it crafted tableside from a custom Negroni trolley.

A Unique Cultural Experience
Named after the fictional, charismatic bartender Camillo, the bar aims to capture the spirit of Italian hospitality, where bartenders actively shape the guest experience as friendly hosts. With only 50 seats, Bar Camillo offers an intimate yet lively atmosphere.
‘Bar Camillo is set to blend the energy of a standalone bar with the prestige of The World’s Best Hotel,’ states Antinori. ‘Our focus is on creating a relaxed, yet celebratory vibe, much like visiting a chic friend’s home but with top-notch service.’ Located at Rosewood Hong Kong, 18 Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, this stylish new bar opens its doors on November 25, 2026.
