The Tweed Run 2016: Hundreds of Classiest Cyclists Take a Ride on Streets of London

Now in its 8th year, The Tweed Run is a yearly ride around London that inspires cyclists to break out their elegant tweed cycling clothes.

“The Tweed Run is a metropolitan bicycle ride with a bit of style,” the website states.

“We take to the streets in our well-pressed best, and cycle through the city’s iconic landmarks. Along the way, we stop for a tea break and a picnic stop, and we typically end with a bit of a jolly knees-up.”

The circular path takes cyclists from Clerkenwell via the Albert Memorial, Buckingham Palace, and Westminster. These days, the Tweed Run isn’t just limited to the streets of London. According to their website, Tweed Runs are popping up all over the world in popular cities!
