Cropping is the big problem of photographic objectivity. Limitless’ project #BrokenIndia gives what left outside of glamorous holiday shots. While we send the fine and energetic pictures of India on Instagram, we leave out the images of poverty and pollution. As it’s said on the project’s post, “there are two sides to a coin.”
“While we have 5-star hotels on one side, we have slums on the other,” Limitless team stated in an online interview. “While children are seen as the future of the country, they’re also forced to child labour.”
The Indian team wanted to bring attention to social concerns in the country.
