Commissioned by NordVestBO and executed by 3DCP Group in collaboration with SAGA Space Architects and MS+, Skovsporet is strategically located near VIA University College. The name Skovsporet, meaning “forest track,” underscores the thoughtful integration of six clusters, each with six apartments, surrounding communal courtyards and lush gardens. Spanning 1,650 square meters, the 36 units, measuring between 39 and 50 square meters, embrace modesty. The project employed a COBOD BOD3 printer for on-site structural wall printing, achieving remarkable accuracy in this cutting-edge student community. The village uses an eco-friendly concrete mix, D.fab, enriched with FUTURECEM, a low-carbon cement by Aalborg Portland, significantly reducing environmental impact. The bicycle shed showcases further innovation, using 3D-printed elements without cement, cutting CO₂ emissions by 84% compared to conventional concrete.
