The 2026 Tile of Spain Awards are open for submissions, calling all creatives to showcase the innovative use of Spanish ceramics in the upcoming event. These prestigious Tile of Spain Awards in Architecture and Interior Design celebrate excellence in projects utilizing Spanish-made tiles, both domestically and internationally.

Ceramics Unveiling: Competition Details and Categories

The competition invites architects, interior designers, landscape architects, and decorators, whether working individually or in teams. With a total prize purse of €35,000, categories include Architecture and Interior Design, further divided into subcategories for different ceramic materials like dry-pressed porcelain stoneware and terracotta. The event promises to highlight these categories, providing a platform for creative expression and recognition.

For an example of how architecture incorporates traditional materials like terracotta, see HB Architects’ modern retreat in Jiashan Village, blending past and present beautifully.
