Space-Age Design Meets Vintage Charm
In the Saint-Cloud neighborhood of Paris, Atelier HA has transformed a former garage into a stylistic marvel. This vivid interior space seamlessly blends retro-futurism with vintage elegance, crafted for a family of four. The bold vision of founders Adèle Nourry and Hugo Vince has resulted in a home where rounded, Space Age cabinetry greets visitors, wrapped in silver leaf by artisan Antonin Lamoot.

A Playful Restructuring by Atelier HA
Originally a spacious but awkwardly laid-out apartment, the unit required an inventive approach to meet the family’s needs. Atelier HA’s renovation introduced essential spaces like a dedicated office and clearer separations between bedrooms. The design overhaul introduces a sense of joy and adventure.

Innovative Interior Layers
Inside the soaring 6.5-meter-tall space, warmth and texture define the atmosphere. Rounded silver wall trims complement the golden vinyl wallcoverings from Élitis below, anchored by the airy whiteness above. A striking mezzanine houses a custom desk, enhanced by an angular skylight and crimson-tinted bookshelf complete with a librarian’s ladder.

Dynamic Communal Spaces
The main level retains an open plan, with elements like a spaceship-themed kitchen island defining areas and enhancing movement during social gatherings. The metallic fireplace stretches to the ceiling, accompanied by green shelving and a unique lipstick sculpture. The dining table, capable of seating ten, showcases the tubular motif in its legs.

Vintage Meets Modern
Graphic Cesi tiles, characterized by green and ivory stripes, demarcate the living-dining zone. Vintage furnishings include a green velvet Confidential sofa by Alberto Rosselli and Ettore Sottsass Stilnovo table lamps in the upstairs office. A zebra bust from the Saint-Ouen Flea Market anchors a wall, adding another layer of intrigue.

Distinct Bedroom Designs
The parents’ suite offers swish luxury, with a geometric mirrored niche and a lacquered oxblood bed framed by platform steps. Custom closets with marquee-like dotted patterns and an oxblood-themed bathroom amplify the modern aesthetic. The interior design incorporates both form and function.

Meanwhile, the kids’ bedroom features geometric designs and a Zig Zag chair by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld, while the guest room showcases wooden accents, blending natural elements with the home’s futuristic theme.

By integrating 1960s capsule shapes with 1970s vintage furniture, Atelier HA has crafted a unique family home that both honors design history and inspires the next generation.
