A Home Rising Above Bangkok’s Urban Density
Designed by anonym studio, Pridi41 House, also known as Bangkok’s Pridi41 House, marks a statement of modern living in Bangkok. Nestled on an 800-square-meter plot along Pridiphanomyong Road, this multigenerational residence cleverly addresses urban challenges. Enveloped by low-rise structures and a towering apartment block, the design prioritizes privacy and environmental harmony, creating a serene retreat amidst the bustling cityscape.

Elevated Living with Seamless Indoor-Outdoor Flow
The home’s strategic layout begins at ground level, dedicated to service areas like storage and parking, with space for six to eight vehicles. Elevated to the second floor are the main living spaces—dining, kitchen, a fitness room, and expansive outdoor terraces—positioned to maximize privacy and view access. A notable feature is a swimming pool running the home’s length, seamlessly integrating with living areas and enhancing natural ventilation.

Designing for Comfort and Sustainability
The design leverages orientation and passive cooling strategies. The east-facing master bedroom welcomes the morning sun, while children’s rooms to the west are shielded by aluminum laths for shading. This thoughtful placement of elements ensures a sustainable indoor climate, with landscaped areas and cross-ventilation enhancing the thermal comfort year-round. The residence exemplifies modern sustainable design principles.

Creating Light and Shadow Play
The third and fourth floors link visually through a double-height living room, fostering connectivity between family areas. The exterior features remarkable for their privacy are designed to flood the interiors with natural light, creating a dynamic interplay of light and shadow across every space.

The upper balconies lend a floating aesthetic, while the covered terrace blends fitness, dining, and living areas, promoting vibrant outdoor living.

Natural Materials and Thoughtful Craftsmanship
Inside, a combination of natural stone and timber in the kitchen adds warmth and texture. Carefully placed windows and openings illuminate the interiors, establishing bright and welcoming spaces.

In harmony with its environment, the master bedroom’s natural materials cultivate a comforting atmosphere. Meanwhile, the protective exterior wall offers privacy without sacrificing scenic views.

The swimming pool, visible from nearly all corners of the home, provides a visual focal point, reinforcing the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.

Warmth and Connectivity
Interior lighting enhances the openness of the second-floor living spaces, reinforcing the home’s warm and inviting nature.
