An ambitious tribute to a masterpiece

In the heart of Barcelona, the Sagrada Família stands in perpetual evolution, an architectural marvel that’s both church and construction site. Capturing this spirit, LEGO has launched an intricate Architecture set dedicated to Antoni Gaudí’s iconic basilica, marking the centenary of the visionary architect’s passing.

Building Gaudí’s legacy in miniature

The massive 12,060-piece set recreates the Sagrada Família’s distinctive elements, beginning with the Apse and Crypt and progressing through the Nativity and Passion facades. This sequence mirrors the basilica’s own historical development, offering builders a journey through time, reflecting more than a century of architectural evolution.

With the real basilica’s Tower of Jesus Christ anticipated to reach 172.5 meters in 2026, this set provides a tangible connection to the ongoing story of Gaudí’s life work.

Miniature marvels of stained glass

Standing over 24 inches high and 18.5 inches wide, the LEGO model captures the awe-inspiring scale and intricate stained-glass window effects of the Sagrada Família. Designed by Rok Žgalin Kobe, the set translates Gaudí’s complex forms and flowing, irregular surfaces into the rigid symmetry of LEGO bricks, preserving the emotional pull of the original.
