Estonian photographer Sparrek was born in 1980. After years of practice to become a professional ballet dancer, artist Kylli Sparre recognized it wasn’t the path for her and instead channeled enthusiasm for dance into photography and picture manipulation. The effect of her previous career is instantly apparent when seeing her conceptual photos that portray posed figures, taut with energy, in the peak of the choreographed movement.
