The Toyota FT-1 has been revealed at the 2014 Detroit motor show – according to the Japanese brand the concept car is the result of its attempt to design “the ultimate sports car”. The FT-1 concept car was created at Toyota’s Calty design studio, which is based in California and which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. Although it is partly inspired by Toyota’s sports cars of the past, the FT-1 has a futuristic look and its name stands for “Future Toyota“.
