Celebrating the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Style
Swedish designer Gustaf Westman introduces a playful touch to the 2026 FIFA World Cup with his innovative snack bowl. This eye-catching design is showcased at a Los Angeles pop-up shop in collaboration with Nike. Crafted from pink-glazed ceramic, the bowl is uniquely shaped like a rounded football stadium, embodying the spirit of the tournament.
Design Features Inspired by the Game
Westman’s creation features ten indents reminiscent of stadium seating, each providing space for a variety of snacks. The dish’s central tray, colored in a grass-like green, can be detached to serve separately, mimicking the look of a football pitch. This piece cleverly combines utility and vibrant design, making it a fitting companion for World Cup celebrations at home.

More Than Just a Bowl
Among the standout offerings at the pop-up is Westman’s Chunky Beer Plate, a multifunctional item that serves as both a snack holder and a drink accessory. Its design features a translucent green plate with a central hole, allowing it to rest on a bottle, creating an integrated snacking experience.

Expanding the Collection
Accompanying the stadium bowl is the ceramic Swoosh Plate, echoing Nike’s iconic logo and matching the pink-glazed aesthetic. This follows Westman’s previous playful designs such as the Curling Bowl for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, showcasing his knack for dual-purpose creations.
From inventive Christmas tableware for IKEA to a creative car project for Mercedes-Benz, Westman continues to captivate with his colorful and humorous approach to design. The photographs of these delightful creations are courtesy of Gustaf Westman.
