Galactic Cats: Jen Bartel’s Psychedelic Drawings Unite Cats And Space

Are your cats full of intergalactic space? No? Must be one of those models, unlike these ‘Galactic Cats’ by Jen Bartel. These are portraits of cats overlaid on images of space. The illustrations were done in psychedelic colors that summon the feeling of, well, galactic space.

Jen Bartel’s strength is illustration, graphic design, and character design. “I spent my childhood in Seoul, South Korea, where I spent the majority of my time-consuming animations and Asian media of the 90’s and early 2000’s,” Bartel writes on her website. “My work is heavily informed by my childhood interests and experiences.”
