Anonymous photos from the midcentury shot on Kodachrome film

In the middle of the century, when social media did not exist yet, people commemorated the usual moments with Kodachrome film 35mm cameras. Thanks to The Anonymous Project, we can take a look at how everyday life looked like then. It all started when filmmaker Lee Shulman innocently purchased a set of 35mm Kodachrome film slides on eBay. The Anonymous Project launched in 2017 since Lee Shulman acquired around 700,000 images either by donation or from vintage sellers. The locations or dates may be unknown, but these shots were taken by skilled amateur photographers, and the stories they contain, are universally familiar. If you are looking to digitize some of your old photos, you can do so using a service such as this one: https://everpresent.com/photo-film-to-digital/.
