Japanese photographer Ariko Inaoka has shot Icelandic twins Erna and Hrefna every summer during five years. Inaoka met the girls in 2006, when they were 6. To earn some money, she did a fashion shoot, and a friend who was casting for that shoot saw the twins at a swimming pool. “When they talk, one begins a sentence, the other picks up midway, and the first one finishes it—all very naturally. Also, they tell me about having the same dreams.”
