Stephen Orlando captures traces of motion through time, securing LED lights to rowing paddles, kayak and even violin bows. The outcome is a Technicolor panorama—curved patterns hovering simply above the water’s border in his latest group of a lake and ocean-side imagery. Lately, Canadian-based lensman has produced images in his home province of Ontario, as well as around Newfoundland and next to Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s Floating Piers this summertime in Italy. You can view more than of Orlando’s time-based light experiments on his Instagram and Facebook.
