Gavin Worth is an artist based in Switzerland. In addition to painting, he makes these outstanding sculptures out of cord. Each sculpture is discreetly intricate, created out of assembled wire, with the wire simply creating a clear picture once it’s seen from the ideal angle. About his work, Worth shares
“My wire sculptures tell stories of straightforward human moments: a young lady adjusting her hair, a face looking from behind snugly wrapped arms, a parent delicately cradling her infant. The sincere, vulnerable moments are the ones that I find to be one of the most lovely.”
His works with repurposed steel poles and wire bonded into two-dimensional sculptures appear as an illustrated sketch.
Like his 2012 sculpture Thirst, additional items have a kinetic element and can be turned to expose opposing photos.
