Materials selected for durability
The exterior showcases FSC-certified accoya wood siding and decking from Delta Millworks, chosen for its resilience in marine settings. The home’s main entrance features a short flight of steps, complemented by a ramp, emphasizing accessibility.
A grand space with a cozy core
Inside, the almost triple-height great room steals the show. Windows bordering the front gabled facade stretch to the roof, providing abundant light. The chimney stack, clad in warm oak, offers a striking contrast to the white siding, maintaining a balance of airy and cozy aesthetics, perfect for a beachside abode.
Innovative interiors: a house within a house
The home includes a secondary volume that forms an upper storey, giving a “house within a house” feel. The oak-clad facade and interior windows overlook the great room below, creating a sense of community within the living space.
