Twisted portraits in paint by Joseba Eskubi

by mizo 2014-03-17, 11:54 AMupdated 2018-04-01, 10:05 PM

Joseba Eskubi is a renowned Spanish artist working out of Bilbao. In his paintings, his figures are distorted shapes rendered in strong colours and brushstrokes that contrast against the neutral backgrounds. The works focus on the human face and the many genius ways that Eskubi can generate new forms and meanings from this simple subject.
