Cartographic Birds and Plants by Claire Brewster

by Archie Hayes 2012-06-20, 7:13 PMupdated 2017-12-26, 7:01 PM 1 Comment

London based artist Claire Brewster uses the old maps and atlases, to create these sleek paper objects. Each completed work is attached to the wall and the light that passes through it creates the illusion of three-dimensionality. Claire is inspired by nature, which is everywhere, even in the urban environment.
