Flynn Matthews We all wish we had a real magical tome from Harry Potter. Illustrator Gabriel Picolo does the next greatest thing. He illustrated his sketchbooks with text and sketches that mix the fabulous contents of a magical manual with touching moments from the story.
“For my sketches I take inspiration from Studio Ghibli, Disney, video games among other stuff,” Picolo states on Patreon. “I love to draw anything that is relatable to other people and me as well. It may be a complicated doodle about feelings or an eye candy fan art but what I love the most is the relationship I create with who’s seeing my work.” Picolo is a freelance artist and illustrator from Brazil, who also goes by “Picolo-kun.”
