If you’re a fan of embroidery, or if you just love birds, you’ll want to check out the work of Paulina Bartnik. This Polish artist creates realistic-looking embroidered brooches of birds, and her work is excellent. Bartnik studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and it’s apparent that she is dedicated to her craft.

In her own words, “I picked birds because of the lovely colors, forms, and texture of feathers. I usually use the needle painting method to embroider them, which perfectly simulates bird feathers.”
