When people see the Doran-Webb‘s sculptures, they are getting struck by their realistic appearance. Doran-Webb’s animals‘ shapes are spot-on, down to each muscle, and feather. These would all be exciting enough if they carved wooden sculptures, but they’re much more. These sculptures are collections of precisely collected driftwood, gathered by Doran-Webb from the shores of the Philippine island. Besides sculpting these incredible sculptures, Doran-Webb also designed the airy studio where he works, and he incorporated driftwood elements into the floor.
