David Brown Automotive made a huge splash on the scene last year when it debuted it’s Speedback GT and recently specs of the classic styled designed car with a modern twist hit the web. The exterior of the car, which you might very well mistake for a classic Aston Martin DB5, was designed by former Land Rover designer Alan Mobberley will make it’s first public appearance during 2015 Monterey Car Week in August.
Boasting a 5.0-liter V8 engine that cranks out an impressive 510 horsepower and is capable of hitting 0-60 mph in 4.6 seconds. The exterior contours and interior design elements of the car make it reminiscent of a classic Bond movie, but is built on a modern Jaguar XK alloy platform and the aluminum body panels are hand beaten and then rolled over an English wheel. The Speedback GT from David Brown Automotive to retail at roughly $753,000 USD and only 100 cars will go into production.
