Julie Hrudová (1988) was born in Prague but now lives and works in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Her work ranges from the political to the personal and everything in between. She has worked with a variety of publications, including The Guardian and VICE News.
She is also a member of Burn My Eye, an international street photography collective – founded by a Dutch photographer – which documents social tensions through photography. Julie’s work has been exhibited internationally in various galleries including OBA Linnaeus library, Gall & Gall-erie, and El Barrio’s Artspace in New York.
Furthermore, Julie is the founder & curator of StreetRepeat: A collection that presents the same photograph taken by different photographers from around the world to emphasize how we all see things differently as well
Julie also works as Photo Editor at RTL News TV in Amsterdam.
