Photographer Steve Axford lives and works in the Northern Rivers area of New South Wales in Australia where he spends his time documenting the living world around him, but he travels all around the world, capturing photos of rare animals, plants, and many different diverse people that he meets. His fascinating photographs of the diverse world of fungi seem to picture a fantastic expedition to some distant alien world.
