Dramatic Animals Portraits Expose Their Human-Like Emotions

by Archie Hayes 2015-06-09, 10:24 PMupdated 2018-02-26, 6:26 PM

Inspired by his love for the animal, young Belgian photographer Vincent Lagrange is currently working on a continuing project called Human Animal, where he shoots both pets and wild animals in a very subtle and dangerous manner.

‘Today most people photograph just people’, states Lagrange, ‘but only a few photograph animals… I tried to shoot the animals as humans, depicting their emotion and human-like characteristics in a sombre way.’
