Flynn Matthews French artist Steeven Salvat has long been captivated by the simplicity found in old botanical studies. For this new series named Mechanical / Biological [Crustacean Study] , Salvat created elaborate clockwork mechanisms that might inspire the rigid exteriors of crabs, lobsters, and crayfish. The 10-piece collection was created only with a 0.13mm Rotring technical drawing pen, the process of which he recorded in a video below.
