It all began over a year ago, when set designer Paola Andrea and her good friend, photographer Naomi McColloch, were discussing their enthusiasm for the new twists and turns found in today’s art. As lovers of Dutch painting, they decided to give it a little shake of their own and collaborated for this series of photographs, entitled Modern Dutch. With a simplistic twist, says Paola, “we wanted to achieve a sense of mystery and intimacy with each image, but keeping it a lot more simple than the traditional Dutch Painting from the Golden Age.”
