The translucent pink shell of this AYANEO Pocket ADVANCE, the KONKR Pocket ADVANCE Ice Pink Limited Edition, reveals the structure beneath it. The case reads as mechanical as it does candy-colored. This newly announced version of the company’s Android gaming handheld borrows the rounded silhouette of the Game Boy Advance.
Translucency gives the enclosure more to show than color alone. Ribs, mounting points, and darker internal layers show through the pink tint. A black bezel frames the screen, and the pale D-pad, face buttons, and shoulder controls stand apart from the body. The hardware does most of the decorating.
Retro hardware with a fresh shell has a long tradition, and Classipod: iPod Classic Style on Galaxy Fold shows how a familiar device look can be rebuilt on modern hardware.

Size and screen
The standard model measures about 5.96 by 3.24 by 0.87 inches and weighs about 7.9 ounces. Its curved sides leave room for controls on either side of the display. Ridges on the back give the fingers a resting point, but the compact size does not guarantee comfort for every hand.
The 3.5-inch LCD uses a 3:2 aspect ratio and a 960×640 resolution. Those proportions match Game Boy Advance games. With fourfold integer scaling enabled, each original game pixel becomes a block four pixels wide and four pixels tall, so the artwork keeps its shape.

Controls and connections
The layout has four face buttons and extra shoulder inputs. Nintendo‘s original design used two face buttons. There is still no analog stick, which suits games built around a D-pad but limits games that depend on analog movement.
A volume wheel adjusts sound without a menu. A headphone jack supports wired listening without an adapter. USB-C handles charging and data, and a microSD slot adds storage. These connections keep a compact handheld useful after its color has lost some of its novelty.

AYANEO Pocket ADVANCE platform and availability
Inside the translucent handheld shell, the device uses a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, active fan cooling, and a 4,000 mAh battery. Android provides the software base. That makes the device an emulation handheld, not a Game Boy that plays original cartridges.
Bright, saturated color also drives nostalgic tech design, as seen in Vivid 3D Reimagining of Nostalgic 90s Tech, which turns old gadget styling into bold, playful renders.
AYANEO plans to open sales in mid-November 2026. The company has not confirmed pricing or shipping schedules. Current owners of this handheld can buy this finish, but no hardware upgrade has been documented that would justify replacing an existing unit.
