Deconstruction of buildings by Michael Jantzen

The Deconstructing The Houses series is a set of collages by Californian architect Michael Jantzen. This two-part project consists of both the physical deconstruction and reconstruction process, resulting in photographs that show how living spaces can be reimagined through careful manipulation.

The juxtaposition between old and new creates an interesting effect as we see where each element was taken from to create this modern space with its own unique story behind it – the memories captured are not just those within these walls but also our personal histories embodied in every object around us.
