With a growing family, the owners of Crib and Chock House wanted to extend the residence located in Coburg, a suburb of Melbourne, Australia. The expansion project was realized by Windust Architects. Given that the owners wanted to keep the fig tree next to the house, an extension to the rear of the site was not possible. The architects decided to make the expansion around the tree, simultaneously directing the living areas to the north.
