Jung Lee’ Abstract Neon Light Letters

Much like the loop-de-loop scribbles of a youngster, artistJung Lee assembled a collection of neon light sculptures which were set up and photographed against cinematic arenas as part of her show titled “No Longer.” Earlier neon works by the artist have concentrated on legible typographic words and phrases, with these new bits carrying a markedly abstract twist, possibly in direct relation to the series’ name. The neon sculptures were set up on foggy snow banks and reflective shores, including a little intrigue regarding their intention. Pictures from the “No Longer” show were on perspective amongst many added light installations this past year in One and J Gallery.
