My Little Pony Dolls transformed into Pop Culture Icons by Mari Kasurinen

My Little Pony has been transformed by Finnish artist Mari Kasurinen, who has turned the little girl’s toy into geeky collectors’ pieces. Introduced by Hasbro way back in 1981, My Little Ponys were distinctively girly with their pretty pastel coloring and decorative rainbow and star embellishments. However, you’d be hard-pressed to recognize the little plastic horses once Mari Kasurinen has done with them. From superheroes and sci-fi stars, like Spock and Wonder Woman, to music icons like Elvis and Lady Gaga, Kasurinen’s customization work hits all the right pop-culture references.
