Faya Sanders Combining inherited household abilities of quilting and carpentry, Los
Angeles-based artist Troy Murrah uses tens of thousands of cut geometric bits from many different materials which range from timber to plexi and metal. All these cut pieces, from leftover remnants & lost furniture, are composed together to construct elaborate wall hangings that replicate traditional quilt patterns.
