Insta360 has introduced a significant update for its Antigravity A1 drone with the launch of the “Follow Me” bundle, blending advanced tracking technology with affordability. The bundle features new accessories designed to enhance the drone’s capability to film users autonomously while lowering the cost of entry. The launch of the new bundle puts this innovative device at the forefront of consumer technology.
Increased Autonomy with the Insta360 Antigravity A1 Drone
The Follow Me bundle stands out by including a smart watch that bolsters the drone’s tracking reliability. The watch, displaying a 1.7-inch screen, offers users the ability to view live footage and manage recording modes. The system is optimized to follow the watch-wearer, maintaining contact even if the drone loses visual sight due to obstacles.
For those interested in cutting-edge tech innovation, the Acer’s Predator Atlas 7 offers powerful specs in a compact design unveiled at IFA 2026.
Additionally, a new ring accessory brings a “Drag-to-Fly” feature, allowing users to point at the drone, press a button, and maneuver it using arm movements for dynamic control over its flight path. This makes operating the flying device a seamless experience.
The bundle captures 8K 360-degree video at 30p using two Type 1/1.28 sensors with F2.2 lenses. Both the ring and watch are water resistant with an IP67 rating, making them suitable for various activities and showcasing the exceptional drone technology integrated into this tracking drone.
Enhancements and Safety Features of the Insta360 Antigravity A1 Drone
Further adding to the package, Insta360 includes propeller guards, four extra propellers, a crossbody bag, and a USB-C charging cable. Notably, the bundle omits the “Vision Goggles” present in the standard package.

The Follow Me bundle, retailing at $799, contrasts the $1599 standard bundle, making it an attractive option for users seeking advanced capabilities without the higher cost. Current A1 owners can purchase the wearable accessories separately with a discount, a testament to the versatility of the advanced flying machine.
Regulatory Considerations and Performance Specs
However, users should be aware that the high-capacity battery included results in a total weight of 351 grams, necessitating registration in the US and EU. Without the propeller guards, the performance characteristics are similar only without the propeller guards.
The bundle’s particular requirements could limit its appeal to users not inclined to manage additional regulations, despite its enhanced features and lower price. Still, the advanced features of the innovative drone are unmatched in its class.
Overall, the Insta360 A1 Follow Me bundle presents a unique offering for tech enthusiasts ready to navigate its regulatory nuances for an innovative, lightweight filming experience. The aerial device remains at the leading edge of drone technology, merging user-friendliness with cutting-edge innovation.
