Shinji Ikari’s purple-and-green Evangelion unit now has a desk setup to match. Razer has released the Razer EVANGELION (EVA-01) Collection, five pieces of desk gear and furniture that carry the anime‘s visual identity from the mouse to the chair.
The collection follows Razer’s earlier EVA-02 collaboration and centers on EVA-01’s purple armor, neon-green accents and mechanical detailing. Rather than stopping at gaming peripherals, Razer applied the theme to desktop audio, a mouse mat and a gaming chair. The result is a full workstation rather than a single accessory.
The lead product is the Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition. It uses the lightweight wireless mouse design Razer already sells, with an ergonomic shape and HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 connectivity. The included EVA-01 display stand is the standout. Its form draws on the docking cradle that held the Evangelion unit before launch, and it gives the mouse a fixed home on the desk.
For another Razer take on customization, see Razer’s Wolverine V4 Pro controller with magnetic buttons, which shows how far its modular design philosophy extends beyond the desk.
The BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition applies the same finish to a tenkeyless keyboard, meaning one without a number pad. Dropping the numeric block frees more space for mouse movement. Hot-swappable switches, which can be replaced without soldering, let owners change the feel of each key. The keyboard also runs wirelessly with low latency, so it keeps the performance expected from a competitive board.
Evangelion gaming peripherals: audio and furniture
On the audio side, the Leviathan V2 X EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition is a compact soundbar powered over USB-C. It sits beneath a monitor and keeps the desk clear. Razer Chroma RGB lighting runs through the purple-and-green finish, so the lighting and the styling match.
The Gigantus V2 XXL EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition covers the desk surface with a textured cloth designed for steady tracking and wide mouse sweeps. The largest item is the Iskur V2 X EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition gaming chair. It pairs the same colorway with integrated lumbar support for long sessions.
If you’re planning the rest of your gaming room around this collection, multi-functional game furniture that doubles as sculpture offers another way to make play spaces look intentional.
Razer is launching the full set of evangelion merchandise in the Asia-Pacific region first. Pre-orders are expected through Amazon and a set of regional retail partners. Reported Japanese retail prices are listed below, with approximate US dollar equivalents in parentheses.
- DeathAdder V4 Pro mouse: ¥32,980 (around $215)
- BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed keyboard: ¥35,980 (around $235)
- Leviathan V2 X soundbar: ¥22,980 (around $150)
- Gigantus V2 XXL mouse mat: ¥6,980 (around $45)
- Iskur V2 X gaming chair: ¥69,980 (around $455)
Of these pieces, the mouse stand is the one collectors will likely single out. Yet the wider point is coherence. Five products that share one palette let a fan build a complete EVA-01 desk without mixing styles from different releases.
