Young London-based designer Kacper Hamilton has created a set of seven wine glasses inspired by the seven deadly sins: lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride. Whilst floating aimlessly on the worldwide web during our lunch hour we stumbled upon these beautiful wine glasses, inspired of course by the seven deadly sins; lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, and pride.
According to Hamilton, each carefully fashioned glass “encapsulates a sin, which is revealed through the ritual of drinking”.
“Red wine is the intended beverage to be drunk from these glasses, as red wine has a deep history in Philosophy & Religion. It is the blood of Christ whilst simultaneously being a drink of indulgence and sophistication. The display case is a sarcophagus for the wine glasses.”
