Rather than working together on one work– as Brazilian duo, Bicicleta Sem Freio, often does — Douglas Castro and Renato Perrerira worked individually, simultaneously, literally back-to-back, at a hot market in Delhi, on these two vibrant murals, ‘facing partitions.’
Renato’s wall features a brilliant, color-blocked bird. Douglas’ is more natural, with surreal leaves and blossoms: recreations of the life he detected while strolling the Delhi parks. Both artists obtained enormous love and support in the neighborhood. Friendships were created. photo-sessions were aplenty.
That the murals were commissioned by St+art India foundation and Sanskriti Kendra cultural center. Bicicleta Sem Freio‘s work is curated and created by international creative home, justkids.
