Stuart McReath‘s high-definition illustrations employ stark shadows which lend an almost three-dimensional characteristic to his envisioned scenes. McReath also utilizes striking juxtapositions of scale and visual metaphors like a physician determining the”health” of a college with a stethoscope. Many of the works shown here were produced as editorial illustrations for posts concerning social issues such as gun legislation, school testing, and the death penalty.
