Over the past many years, Seth Casteel has found his passion as a photographer who captures energetic photos of dogs swimming underwater. Developing on his cute animal portrait empire, he’s just published Pounce, a book that shows rescue cats and kittens bouncing and playing with the biggest of ease.
The more than 70 photographs are an amusing and honest show off just how silly felines can be. As they barrel through the air, Casteel captures them in an up-close point of view—the unimaginable leaps gain serious height and make them look like little superheroes. Some cats, too, are naturally more dramatic and offer goofy looks that are sure to make you smile with characters that are larger than they are.
