Putting in beacons in scenes of thick forests and milky lagoons, German duo Tarek Mawad and Friedrich van Schoor of collective 3hund produced the movie LUCID with a view to seize the melancholy temper of those displaced works. The quick movie is a surreal story of loneliness, with lengthy panning photographs that spotlight electroluminescent shapes’ placement inside chosen alien-like environments. The sunshine installations are all distinctive to their particular panorama, and differ between teams of skinny strains, small orbs submerged in water, and illuminated triangles that appear to hover above the rocky terrain.
