Jimmy Nelson is a British photographer who transposed his childhood living in Asia, Africa, and South America into a prosperous career photographing indigenous communities. This curiosity never left him, and he directed his creative energy into artistically documenting native peoples of every continent. His latest work, Homage to Humanity, is an interactive look at the people he meets and the lands he visits.
Due to its highly controversial title, his first book Before They Pass Away has gained massive worldwide attention, which encouraged Jimmy and his new team to start sharing this cultural conversation.
Keeping up with the new technology, Nelson allows these inherent communities to have a greater choice in how the public at large sees them.
